COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.- The Ursinus College women's basketball team closed its 2011 portion of the Centennial Conference schedule with a 68-61 win over Dickinson Saturday afternoon.
Ursinus (4-4, 3-2 Centennial) led by 11 at the half and took as much as a 17-point lead in the second half.
The Bears were led by senior forward Lindsay Teuber (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Basil's) and senior guard Alli Rosati (Jamison, Pa./Central Bucks East) who each had 15 points, with senior guard Kristy George (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) scoring 14 points.
Dickinson got 15 points from senior guard Taylor Miller, while junior guard Belma Mekic had 12 for the Red Devils (1-9, 1-4 Centennial).
Dickinson had a 33-24 edge in rebounding, with freshman forward Gillian Ferko grabbing six.
Ursinus will be off until December 29, when they take on William Patterson at the York (Pa.) tournament.
