COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Johns Hopkins put three players in double figures on Saturday afternoon as the Blue Jays (19-4, 16-3 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (14-9, 10-8 Centennial) 72-48 in women's basketball action.

The Blue Jays have all but locked up the top seed for the upcoming playoffs, while the Bears remain in a tie for the fourth spot with Franklin & Marshall with two games to play next week.

Johns Hopkins was led by sophomore forward Alex Vassila who scored 13 points, with junior guard Chantel Mattiola and senior forward Lyndsay Burton each scoring ten points. Burton grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

Ursinus got 16 points from freshman guard Diamond Lewis (East Windsor, N.J./Stuart Country Day) while junior forward Lindsay Teuber (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Basil's) added in ten.

Hopkins pulled away with a 16-2 run midway through the first half to go up 24-11 and never looked back. Leading 37-19 at halftime, the Blue Jays went up by as much as 25 in the second half.

Ursinus will host Washington on Wednesday night in the final regular season home game.
