COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Thirteen different players scored for Ursinus as the Bears (13-7, 9-6 Centennial) defeated Bryn Mawr (0-19, 0-15 Centennial) 61-33 in women's basketball play Wednesday night.
For Ursinus, junior guard Alli Rosati (Jamison, Pa./Central Bucks East) led the way for the Bears with 11 points, while junior forward Lindsay Teuber (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Basil's) had six points and eight rebounds.
Also scoring six points for the Bears were junior guard Kristy George (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall), freshman Devin Butchko (Cream Ridge, N.J./Villa Victoria Academy) and sophomore forward Amber Yacenda (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East).
Ursinus raced out to a 26-0 lead and held Bryn Mawr to just one field goal in the first half in the win, while outrebounding the Owls 37-35.
Ursinus heads to Gettysburg Saturday.
