CHESTERTOWN, Md.. - Ursinus sophomore forward Lindsay
Teuber (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Basil's) scored a game-high
20 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds as Ursinus (12-12,
9-10 Centennial) led wire-to-wire in a 74-56 win over Washington
(9-15, 7-12 Centennial) Wednesday night in women's basketball play
at the Cain Athletic Center.
Sophomore guard Kristy George (Whitehall,
Pa./Whitehall) added in 14 points as Ursinus never trailed
and led by as much 18 points.
For Washington, freshman center Erin Kile had 16 points to lead the
Shorewomen, while sophomore guard Meghan Tait added in 13
points.
Ursinus held Washington to just one field goal over the last 5:49
of the first half, allowing the Bears to build a 13 point lead
(38-25) at intermission.
In the second half, Ursinus lead never dipped below six.
Junior forward Alex Shivers (Pine Beach, N.J./Toms River
South) also had five assists, while Teuber picked up four
steals and two blocks.
Ursinus will host Muhlenberg Saturday.
