Men's Track & Field Concludes Competition at AARTFC Championships

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field wrapped up their time in the two-day All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship (AARTFC) at Moravian University on Thursday.

 

 

Eight Bears competed on the last day in the final meet before NCAA Championships next week in Geneva, Ohio.

 

 

Competing in the final event of his career, senior Zach Crebbin finished ninth in the high jump with a mark of 1.87 meters. Freshman Trey Rolle matched Crebbin by clearing the bar at the same height and finished 11th overall.

 

 

Senior Nick Galbraith finished his Bears career by competing in the hammer throw and shot put on Thursday afternoon. Galbraith placed 12th in the hammer after recording a mark of 50.63 meters and 27th in the shot put with a throw of 13.16 meters. Junior Isaiah Battle finished in 19th overall in the hammer with his throw of 47.03 meters and junior Tim Holzapfel placed 23rd with a mark of 43.99. Freshman Tom Wood recorded a throw of 13.42 meters to place 24th in the shot put.

 

 

Sophomore Tucker McGrath registered a new career-best time in the 800-meters with his time of 1:56.12 and finished in 17th overall. Freshman Mason Jolivette finished 24th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.11.

 

 

The Bears are expected to have the Men's 4x400 relay team of senior Tyler Reilly, sophomore Devon Greaves, junior Daniel Tabor, and junior Payton Stanziani competing in the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
