Reilly, Myers Earn Centennial Men's Track & Field Weekly Honors

LANCASTER, Pa. – A pair of Ursinus Men's Track & Field athletes earned player of the week honors from the Centennial Conference on Tuesday morning. Senior Tyler Reilly was named co-Track Athlete of the week and freshman Brody Myers earned the Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second-straight week.

Reilly dazzled in the 300 meters last Friday in the Mini-Dip Invitational as he set both school and Centennial Conference records. He posted a time of 35.61 to shatter the previous Ursinus indoor record of 36.09 set in 2019 and the Centennial record of 35.70 that was set by Lipton Thompson of Franklin & Marshall in 2010. Reilly followed that up as a member of the 4x400 Ursinus relay team that finished first with a season-best time of 3:28.11, which ranks 40th in Division III this season. This is the first time in his collegiate career that Reilly has earned a weekly accolade from the Centennial Conference.

Myers earned his second-straight Field Athlete of the Week honor behind topping his own school record on Friday night. He posted a mark of 4.65 meters, which also topped his Centennial Conference -best number this season. Myers now ranks third all-time in conference history with his most recent mark and is currently 13th in the nation. The Camp Hill native is now three-for-three with first place finishes in the pole vault this season.

The Bears return to action Friday, February 4th as they will compete in the DIII Invitational at the NYC Armory
