USTFCCCA Rankings

COLLEGEVILLE - The Ursinus College men's indoor track and field team was ranked No. 4 in the initial United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Metro Regional Rankings released on Tuesday.

The Bears earned 180.74 rating points in the poll to rank fourth and lead three other Centennial Conference schools featured in the Metro Region.

After making their debut in the rankings during the 2019-20 season, the Bears once again boast a bevy of student-athletes either atop or near the apex of the CC performance list.

Among sprinters, junior Daniel Maloney ranks second in the 60-meter hurdles, while senior Octavious Carter (4th), senior Tyler Reilly (7th), and junior Daniel Tabor along with senior Tyree Williams-Jackson (T-9th) all rank top 10 for the 60-meter dash. Reilly paces the Centennial in the 200 and is joined by Tabor (T-3rd), sophomore Collin Ney (8th), and senior Zach Crebbin (10th). Tabor currently holds the fastest time for the Bears in the 400 while ranking 4th in the Centennial and Crebbin (T-8th) and freshman Mason Jolivette round out the top 10. The 4x400 relay team of Reilly, Ney, Tabor, and sophomore Devon Greaves currently holds the fastest time in the CC following a dominant performance in the Bears season opener.

Junior Payton Stanziani holds the third fastest time in the Centennial in the 800 and freshman Christian Rosado ranks seventh in the event after a strong performance on Saturday in the Collegeville Classic.

Freshman Brody Myers ranks first in the pole vault after a school record breaking performance in the season opener and Ken Sprankle follows in eighth for the event.

Crebbin ranks fourth in the high jump and is joined in the top-10 with freshman Trey Rolle in sixth. Rolle also ranks eighth in the high jump while Tabor finds himself in third and sophomore Michael Agbeye in eighth for the triple jump.

For the throws, junior Isaiah Battle and senior Nick Galbraith lead a 1-2 placement in the weight throw while junior Tim Holzapfel ranks fourth. Battle and Galbraith rank fifth and sixth respectively in the shot put as well.

The Bears return to action this Friday, January 28th as they will compete in the Little Dip Invitational at Franklin & Marshall.
