LANCASTER, Pa. – Following another strong performance on the pole vault, freshman Brody Myers was named the Centennial Conference Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the Conference on Tuesday morning.

Myers earned his second win in the pole vault this season on Saturday at the Collegeville Classic. He recorded a mark of 14-6.00 ft. to win the event one month after setting a new Ursinus Indoor Track & Field pole vault record in the season opener. He still holds the top mark in the Centennial for the pole vault from that season opener and ranks 35th nationally.

The Camp Hill native is the first Ursinus Men's Track & Field athlete to earn a weekly accolade from the Centennial this season, and first since Nick Galbraith in January 2020.

The Bears will return to action on Friday, January 28th in the Little Dip Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall at 4 p.m.
