Men's T&F Puts 10 on All-CC Team

All-CC Men's Track & Field

LANCASTER, Pa. – A remarkable 10 members of the Ursinus College men's track and field team received All-Centennial Conference honors for their performances at the outdoor championships.

Griffin McMann became the first Outstanding Field Performer in Ursinus history, collecting first-team awards for his gold medals in the discus, hammer, and shot put.

Evan Giannetti was also a first-team selection for his javelin title, one of the best marks in the country this spring.

Two relays – Octavious Carter, Max Gadsden, Tyler Reilly, and Tyree Williams Jackson in the 4x100, and Zach Crebbin, Devon Greaves, Reilly, and Payton Stanziani in the 4x400 – captured second-team laurels for their runner-up performances. Reilly was also a second-team honoree in the 200, as was Daniel Maloney in the 110 hurdles.

Carter (100), Crebbin (high jump), Riley Grourke (javelin), and Reilly (400) all received honorable mention for third-place efforts.

McMann is the only athlete in Centennial history to win three throwing events at the same championships. After taking gold in the hammer on Friday, the senior came back two days later to capture both the discus and shot put. He became the first outdoor discus champion in program history with a throw that ranks 39th in the country, and jumped to 40th in the nation with his first-place shot put toss.

Giannetti made the most of his one event, ascending to ninth in all of Division III with a huge 194-4 mark. Grourke was third at 166-3.

Reilly, Carter, Gadsden, and Williams-Jackson secured silver in the 4x100, edging Dickinson by .02 seconds for second with a clocking of 43.59. It was the second career silver in the event for Carter, Reilly, and Williams-Jackson, who also finished runner-up in 2019.

Reilly also ran the second leg of the 4x400-meter relay, which finished a mere .61 seconds behind first-place Johns Hopkins to match the 4x100 with a silver medal.

Reilly also claimed medals in both the 200- and 400-meter dash. He notched a PR in the 200, crossing the line in 22.25 seconds to win his second consecutive outdoor silver medal in the event. Reilly was just .05 ticks behind Dickinson's Cole Boback. Reilly came up a little short in his quest to defend his 400-meter dash title from the 2019 championships, but the junior still secured bronze with a time of 49.60 seconds.

Maloney grabbed silver in the 110-meter hurdles with a PR 15.54 seconds.

Carter saved his best sprint of the season for the perfect time, blazing his way to a bronze medal in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.97, a collegiate best by .07 seconds. The junior backed up his bronze from the 2019 outdoor meet with one of the top times in program history.

Crebbin registered his first career outdoor medal with a third-place effort in the high jump, collecting bronze with a mark of 6-4.75.

Additionally, senior George Psaradakis was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
