COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – After a record-setting performance at Lebanon Valley, Nick Galbraith was named the Centennial Conference men's indoor field athlete of the week.

Galbraith broke his own program record in the weight throw, taking first place in the event by uncorking a toss of 46 feet, 11.5 inches. The mark was more than two feet clear of the runner-up and over 18 inches beyond his previous personal best.

Galbraith was also part of an impressive performance in the shot put, where the Bears accounted for four of the top five finishers. The sophomore was fourth with a toss of 39-7.

The track and field teams return home to host the annual Collegeville Classic on Saturday.
