Men's Track and Field finishes fourth at Centennial

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team finished fourth at the 2015 Centennial Conference Championships with a score of 94 points, just six out of a top three finish.

Senior Evan Shea won the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.17, while sophomore Patrick Mekongo won the 400 meter dash with a  time of 48.84, while senior Darius Jones was second with a time of 49.19.

Shea and Mekongo's times were personal bests, while Jones' time was a season best. Senior Anthony Sierzega was fourth in the 400 with a time of 50.30, a personal best.

In the 400 hurdles, Shea was fifth with a time of 57.95, while freshman Jequan Mitchell was eighth with a time of 1:02.62.

In the 200, Mekongo was second with a time of 22.56, while Jones was third with a mark of 22.69.

In the 4x1, the team of Mitchell, senior Richard Schulz, Sierzega and Jones finished first with a time of 42.67. While the team of Jones, Schulz, Mekongo and junior Andrew Mackin won the 4x4 with a mark of 3:19.68.

In the throws, freshman Adam Myers was seventh in the discus at 133-05, while seventh in the javelin with a personal best of 170-09.
