COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – With three weeks remaining until the Centennial Conference Championships, the Ursinus College men's track and field team hosted its final indoor meet of the year in the Frank Colden Invitational. The Bears finished seven out of 11 teams in scoring.

Freshman Joseph Iuilucci finished second overall in the 5k with a time of 16:38, which was a personal best on his way to finishing second overall. Coach Carl Blickle noted he outkicked a few competitors to finish second overall.

In the 200, senior Darius Jones was eighth overall with a 23.8 (a season best), while freshman Jequan Mitchell had a season best 24.1

In the 400, Jones ran a season and conference best 51.9, while senior Anthony Sierzega ran an indoor personal best 52.7. Mitchell, senior Miles Perkins and freshman Mitchell Kelly all ran season bests to qualify for the CC Championships with times of 54.2, 54.4 and 55.1 respectively.

In the 800, junior Nolan Davis ran an indoor personal record time of 2:04, which was fifth overall and a qualifying mark for the CC Championships.

In the 60 hurdles, junior Erich Keyser returned from injury to run a 9.3, which was a CC Championship qualifying mark.

The team of Jones, Sierzega, senior Evan Shea and senior Richard Schulz ran a 1:36 in the 4x2, which was sixth overall.

Freshman Adam Myers was sixth in the shot put with a personal best throw of 42-10.
