COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – In its first meet of the year, the Ursinus College track and field teams turned in some top performances as they hosted the Bow-Tie Classic.
The men, in a field of 19 teams, while were 12th with 25 points.
For the men, senior Richard Schulz (Village Shires, Pa./George School) was third in the 500 meters at 1:08.52.
Senior Evan Shea (Acton-Boxbrough, Mass./Acton) was sixth in both the high jump (5-10) and in the 60 hurdles (8.76).
Junior Skyler McCormick (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) was fourth in the 400 meters at 52.23.
Junior Andrew Mackin (Radnor, Pa./Radnor) was sixth in the 400 meters at 52.81, while freshman Adam Myers (Birdsboro, Pa./Daniel Boone) was sixth in the shot put at 42-08.25.
Senior Anthony Sierzega (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) was sixth in the 200 meters at 23.81, and eighth in the 500 meters at 1:09.66.
