Men's Track and Field fifth at Ursinus Open

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team closed its home schedule on Friday night with a fifth-place finish in the Ursinus Open scoring 60 points in a nine team field.

Junior Marquis Wilson finished first in the shot put at 45-07.75, while the team of sophomore Erich Keyser, sophomore Skyler McCormick, junior Richard Schulz and junior Darius Jones broke a school record in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:27.18. They finished second in that event.

Staying in the field events, Jones would win the high jump at 6-4, with junior Evan Shea finishing fourth at 5-10. Junior Anthony Nienius was sixth in the triple jump at 39-10.50, with senior Brian Clancy third in the shot put at 41-5.

On the track, sophomore Andrew Mackin was second in the 800 run at 2:00.20, with sophomore Vincent Flood seventh at 2:05.02. Shea finished third in the 60 hurdles at 8.76.
