Men's Track and Field starts season by hosting Bow-Tie Classic

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team opened the season by hosting Bow-Tie Classic by finishing fourth with 49 points.

The lone top finisher was sophomore Andrew Mackin, as he won the 800 meter run with a time of 1:58.52.

Sophomore Skyler McCormick was second in the 200 dash at 23.58, while junior Marquis Wilson was second in the shot put at 45-08.

In the 400, sophomore Erich Keyser was fourth overall at 552.64, with sophomore Vincent Flood seventh in the one mile run at 4:35.53.

In the relays, Keyser, junior Anthony Sierzega, senior Ian Wiggins and McCormick were second in the 4x4 at 3:34.15, while Vincent Flood, sophomore David Slade, Mackin and senior Charles Wacker were second in the 4x8 at 8:54.54.
