Men's Track and Field runs at Gwynedd-Mercy

GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Gwynedd-Mercy Mid-Week Invitational on Wednesday.

The men saw junior Conner Andres take first in the long jump with a leap of 20 feet even, followed by freshman Joey Brodsky second at 19-06.

Sophomore Anthony Nienius was third in the long jump at 41-11.50.

The throwing events saw junior Brian Clancy third in the shot put at 42.10.75, while Nienius was seventh in the javelin at 141-07. Sophomore Brendan Bellomo was eighth in the javelin throw at 140-03.  

Sophomore Evan Shea was third in the 110 hurdles at 15.75.

In the pole vault, sophomore Joseph Murray was fourth at 9-03.25.

Freshman Vincent Flood was fourth in the 1500 meter run at 4:11.58, with freshman Andrew Mackin seventh at 4:17.96.

In the sprints, sophomore Darius Jones was third in the 100 dash at 11.05 and fourth in the 200 dash at 22.70.  Freshman Conor Flood was fifth in the 400 dash at 55.26, with freshman Skyler McCormick in seventh at 11.56 in the 100 dash.

Sophomore John Schroder was eighth in the 800 meter run at 2:16.09.

In the 4x100 relay, Brodsky, Andres, Jones and McCormick was fourth at 44.43.
