Men's Track and Field sets new record at Muhlenberg Invitational

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team set a school record on Saturday at the Muhlenberg Invitational.

The team of Erich Keyser, Jordan Grannum, Richard Schulz and Darius Jones set a new mark in the 4x4 meter relay with a time of 3:20.90. The time is the ninth fastest in Division III this season.

Marquis Wilson finished second in the javelin, throwing a distance of 61.41 meters.

In the field events, Jones was third in the high jump at 1.80 meters, while Anthony Nienius was fifth in the triple jump at 12.62 meters.

Back on the track, Sam Stortz was third in the steeplechase at 10:33.62. Evan Shea was fifth in the 110 hurdles at 16.24, while Keyser was sixth at 16.74.

Jones was fourth in the 400 at 50.26, Vincent Flood was seventh in the 5k at 16:36.12, while Keyser took eighth in the 400 hurdles at 1:00.82.

In the 4x8, Amos Almy, Connor Flood, Nolan Davis and John Schroder was fifth at 8:55.54.
