Men's Track and Field sixth at Ursinus College Open

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team took sixth on Friday at the Ursinus College Open with a score of 45.5 points. It was the team's final meet before hosting the Centennial Conference Championships in two weeks.

Again, Chris Rountree led the way as he finished first in the triple jump at 45-08.50 feet. 

Darius Jones was third in the 400 meter run at 51.26 and 5th in the high jump at 5-10.

In the triple jump Anthony Nienius was fourth at 38-11.50 feet. 

Fifth place finishes went to Richard Schulz in the 400 meter run at 51.60 and Brian Clancy in the shot put at 43-09.75.

Marquis Wilson took sixth in the shot put at 42-06.75, followed by Brett Smyers in seventh at 41-10.75. 

Andrew Mackin was seventh in the 800 meter run at 2:06.12, with Amos Almy seventh in the 5k at 16:52.70.
