Men's Track fifth at Frank Colden Invite

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team took fifth at the Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday as the host school picked up 49 points.

Senior Chris Rountree (Lawnside, N.J./Haddon Heights) was the top finisher for the Bears as he won the triple jump with a leap of 46-02.75 feet. He also finished sixth in the long jump at 20-1 feet.

Sophomore Darius Jones (Lawnside, N.J./Haddon Heights) was second in the 400 meter dash at 52.34 and fourth in the high jump at six feet even. 

Sophomore Richard Schulz (Village Shires, Pa./The George School) was fourth in the 800 meter run at 2:03.89. 

Sophomore Evan Shea (Acton-Boxborough, Mass./Acton) was fifth in the 60 hurdles at 8.86.

Three throwers placed in the shot put, paced by a third place finish from junior Brian Clancy (Havertown, Pa./Havertown). Sophomore Marquis Wilson (New Rochelle, N.U./The Hackley School) was fourth at 42-06.25 and senior Brett Smyers (Gardners, Pa./Biglerville) was sixth at 40-11.75.
