NEWARK, Del. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team took part in the non-scoring Thomson Invitational hosted by the University of Delaware on Saturday afternoon.

Several student athletes finished in the top eight of their respective events against Division I and II athletes.

Richard Schulz was a sixth-place finisher in the 500 meter run with a time of 1:09.56, with Darius Jones finishing eighth in the 400 meter dash at 52.28.

In the throws, Brian Clancy and Marquis Wilson went sixth and seventh in the shot put with throws of 44-10.25 and 43-08.50, respectively.
