COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team finished fifth on Sunday after the three-day Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Ursinus College with a total of 73 points.

On the track, Evan Shea captured the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.63.

Al Desiderio finished eighth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.11.

In the 400, Darius Jones was second with a time of 49.32.

In the 4x1 meter relay, the team of Lance Jones, Darius Jones, Anthony Sierzega and Desiderio finished fifth with a time of 43.49.

In the 4x4, the team of Richard Schulz, Lance Jones, Darius Jones and Miles Perkins was fifth with a time of 3:25.42.

On the field, Andrew Carr was third in the shot put at 45-5, while Brian Clancy was fourth (45-1) and Marquis Wilson was eighth at 42-02.25.

In the javelin, Chris Salaga was second at 183-04, with Wilson third (175-02), Mark Gapinski sixth at 166-05, Anthony Gochal seventh at 165-03 and Lance Jones eighth at 163-05.


SATURDAY
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team is in seventh place with 14 points, tied with Gettysburg, after day two of the Centennial Conference Championships, hosted by Ursinus.

In finals on day two, Darius Jones was second in the high jump 6-03.50, while Evan Shea was seventh at 5-07.75.

The team of Bogdan Lisachenko, Nick Pane, Adam DiCaprio and Mark Gapinski was eighth in the 4x8 relay at 8:33.40.

Anthony Gochal finished sixth in the decathlon, finishing the two day event with a total of 5,145 points. He won the javelin event in the dec with a throw of 152-03.

In the trials, Al Desiderio finished with the top time on the day in the 100, with a 11.23. Darius Jones was second in the 400 trails at 49.23.

In the 110 hurdles, Shea qualified third at 16.04.
