COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team hosted the Collegeville Classic Friday night, finishing third with a total team score of 52 points.

On the track, senior Al Desiderio (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman CatholIc) third at 7.17 in 60 dash. Freshman Yhosua Gomez (Philadelphia, Pa./Boys Latin Charter) was eighth in 200 meter at 24.16.

Sophomore Jatin Narang (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) was second in 3000 meter run at 9:06.74, while freshman Evan Shea (Acton-Boxborough, Mass./Acton) seventh at 9.0 in 60 meter hurdles.

Freshman Darius Jones (Lawnside, N.J./Haddon Heights) second in high jump at 6-2, while senior Nick Giarratano (Wapwallopen, Pa./Crestwood) third in long jump at 20-03.50.

Senior Andrew Carr (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) was third at 46-02.75 in shot put.
