BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's track and field team closed out the first semester on Friday night at the Lehigh Invitational.
Junior Andrew Carr (Spring City, Pa./Phoenixville) was the top finisher in the shot put with a throw of 14.21 meters.
In the 60 meter dash, sophomore Jordan Grannum (New Rochelle, N.J./Brunswick School (Conn.)) was sixth with a time of 7.286, followed by senior Charles Prete (Herndon, Va./Kellum) in seventh at 7.288. Grannum would later finish sixth in the 200 meter dash at 23.17.
In the 400 meter dash, freshman Paul Luchon (Royersford, Pa./Spring Ford) was sixth with a time of 53.34.
Junior Ben Mosher (Hershey, Pa./Lower Dauphin) went seventh in the 800 meter run at 2:06.83, followed by teammate sophomore Tyler Gofus (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) in eighth at 2:08.14. Senior Jeremy Garavel (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) was eighth in the mile run at 4:34.84.
In the high jump, freshman Dean Scott (North Berwick, Maine/Noble) was sixth with a mark of 1.78 meters, followed by Prete in seventh at 1.73 meters.
