Arsenault, Lynch Recognized for Academic Success

TEMPE, Ariz. – Graduated senior co-captains Tyler Arsenault and Dalton Lynch of the Ursinus College men's tennis team were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athletes as the organization announced its 2016 academic awards. To earn that honor, a student-athlete must be a varsity letter winner with a GPA of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.

Arsenault, a second team All-Centennial Conference selection in doubles last season and a second team singles honoree this year, left Ursinus as the program's all-time leader in overall wins (112) and doubles wins (50). He was 14-7 out of the number two singles slot as a senior, and teamed up with Lynch for a 13-8 mark at number two doubles. Also named to the All-CC Sportsmanship Team, Arsenault was recently chosen the College Player of the Year by the South Jersey Tennis Coaches Association.

Lynch completed his career ranked sixth all-time in total victories (60) and fifth in singles wins (36). Alongside Arsenault, Lynch served as a co-captain for the Bears for the past two seasons.
