WESTMINSTER, Md. – Ursinus swept all three doubles matches on Saturday en route to a 6-3 win over McDaniel in men's tennis on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears improved to 12-6 overall heading into the final week.
Evan Stutchin and Matt Hope defeated Seth McFalla and Satchel McCarthy in the first flight doubles 9-8, with a 8-1 win the tiebreaker. Evan Lord and Logan Metcalf-Kelly defeated Brian Kron and Matthew Langsdale at number two flight, 8-0. At number three flight, Tyler Arsenault and Henry Burke defeated Philip Jorgensen and Ryan Salomon, 8-3.
In singles, Stutchin defeated Kron at number one flight, 6-2, 6-4, while Metcalf-Kelly defeated Langsdale at number four flight, 6-1, 6-3.
At sixth flight, Dylan Marsh defeated Daniel Xinis, 6-0, 6-2.
