COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 match to Washington College on Tuesday afternoon, falling to 8-7 overall and 0-5 in the Centennial.
The Bears got points at number one singles at sophomore Evan Stutchin (Cape Coral, Fla./Canterbury School) improved to 10-4 at number one singles with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Kevin Papen.
Stuchin and sophomore Evan Lord (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) combined at number one flight singles to defeat Papen and Aaron Ellison, 9-7.
Ursinus heads to Gettysburg Saturday.
