COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's tennis began its final week of competition on Wednesday afternoon with a 8-1 loss to Haverford College, to fall to 11-8 on the year and 1-7 in Centennial play with one match to go.

Despite the loss, freshman Evan Lord (Collegeville, Pa.) defeated Ankur Arya at number five flight singles by a 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 score.

The match of the day was first flight singles at Kevin Caulfield, ranked 14^th in the region in singles, was taken to the limit by freshman Evan Stutchin (Cape Coral, Fla.). Caulfield won the three-hour plus matcb by a score of 6-7 (9-11), 7-6 (10-8) and 12-10.

Ursinus closes play on Saturday against Muhlenberg.
