Men's Tennis blanks Immaculata, 9-0

IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's tennis team continued its hot start on Tuesday afternoon, blanking Immaculata University by a 9-0 score. 

The Bears (5-1) got two points via default at number six singles and number three doubles.

In doubles play, the team of Sean Kelley and Matt Hope defeated Nick Tarlecki and Demetrios Vlahos 8-2 at number one flight, while the team of Kevin Dean and Greg Lewis defeated Eric Schmidt and Michael Hermansen 8-1 at number two flight.

In singles play, Hope defeated Tarlecki at number one flight, 6-0, 6-1, while David Rowe defeated Vlahos at number two flight, 6-1, 6-0. 

At number three flight, Dean defeated Schmidt, 6-1, 6-0, while Kelley defeated Hermansen at number four flight, 6-0, 6-0.

Bennet Krantz won his match at number five flight over Steve Beaver, 6-0, 6-0.
