Men's Tennis continues win streak, downs Clark 6-3

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Ursinus College men's tennis team continued its hot start on Wednesday afternoon, defeating Clark by a 6-3 score to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Ursinus started with two wins in doubles play as the team of freshman Evan Stutchin (Cape Coral, Fla./Canterbury School) and freshman Evan Lord (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) defeated Diego Angel and Harris Rollinger 8-4 at number one flight, while the team of freshman Matt Hope (Wyomissing, Pa./Wilson) and sophomore Nick Rall (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) defeated Bram Smith and Dan Hall at number three flight, 8-2.

In singles play, Hope won his match at number two flight, 6-2, 6-3, while freshman Brent Stevenson (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) won his match at number three flight over Aaron Chin, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4).

Sophomore Chris Wyshock (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock Township) defeated Hall at number four flight, 6-3, 6-4, followed by a 3-6, 6-3, 10-3 win for freshman David Rowe (South Hamilton, Mass./Hamilton-Wenham Regional) over Nathan Maltais at number six flight.
