Men's Tennis wins Florida opener, 8-1, over King's

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Ursinus College men's tennis team opened up the spring portion of their schedule with a 8-1 win over King's (Pa.) on Monday afternoon. This is the third straight win for the Bears, and is also their sixth straight win dating back to last season.

Ursinus took all three doubles matches to start the afternoon, as the team of Evan Stutchin and Evan Lord defeated Tim Carroll and Tony Beverino, 8-2, at number one flight. The team of Brent Stevenson and Sean Kelley defeated Mike Steinberger and Nick Conte, 8-3 at number two flight.

At number three flight, Matt Hope and Dylan Marsh defeated Jake Rohring and Chris DiMino, 8-1.

In singles play, Stutchin won his match at number one flight, 6-1, 6-1, over Carroll, while Hope won his match at number two flight over Beverino, 6-1, 6-0.

Lord won his match at number three flight, 6-2, 6-0, over Steinberger, while Stevenson won his match at number four flight, 6-1, 6-1, over Conte.

At number five flight, Chris Wyshock defeated Rohring, 6-1, 6-1.
