Carkhuff and Kasznay Earn All-CC Nods

LANCASTER, PA. -  Three members of the Ursinus College men's swimming team were named to the All-Conference team, announced by the conference Thursday morning. 

Senior Ryan Carkhuff and freshman Jonah Kasznay earned All-Conference honorable mention after their performances at conferences over the weekend. 

Carkhuff earned a silver medal in the 50 freestyle (20.29), breaking the previous school record of 20.48. The Chester, New Jersey native also earned a third-place finish in the 100 free with a time of 45.38. With his times, Carkhuff becomes the first man in Ursinus College history to qualify for NCAA's and is the team record holder in the 50 and 100 free.  

Kasznay recorded a second-place finish in the 400 IM after touching the wall with a time of 4:03.00. Kasznay currently holds the school record in the event, after beating the time of James Callaghan which was set back in 2019.  

Carkhuff and Kasznay joined freshman Dylan Schreffler,and sophomore Stephen Lyons to break the school record in 200 freestyle relay, touching the wall at 1:22.83, for a third-place finish. 

Junior Maxwell Valeriano was named to the All-sportsmanship team.
