Men's Swimming Jumps Into  2021-22 Season

LANCASTER, PA – The Ursinus College Men's swimming team kicked off their 2021-22 season in a Centennial Conference quad meet at Franklin & Marshall with McDaniel and Swarthmore on Saturday.  

Ryan Carkhuff took home a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle event while recording a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle. Freshman Jonah Kasznay picked up a fifth-place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle with fellow Bear Matthew Seeburger taking home sixth. The team of Kasznay, Carkhuff, Stephen Lyons, and Dylan Schreffler recorded the fourth fastest time on the day in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The Bears were defeated by Swarthmore (204-57) and Franklin & Marshall (214-47), but picked up a win over McDaniel 196-47. 

Sophomore Stephen Lyons finished fifth in the 100-yard freestyle and sixth in the 50-yard freestyle for the Bears as well. 

The Bears will return to action on Saturday as they host York College at 1:00PM.
