Men's Swimming tripped up by F&M

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's swimming team dropped a Centennial Conference met to Franklin & Marshall on Saturday by a score of 116 to 89.

In the opening 400 yard medley relay, the Bears took second with a time of 3:41.06. The team was comprised of sophomore William Benn, junior Keith Larkin, junior Chris Hoops and senior Ben Jumper.

In the 1000 free, sophomore Marcus Wagner was first with a time of 10:08.63.

The 200 free saw senior Josef Gershun finish second with a time of 1:48.04, with Wagner in third at 1:49.74.

Hoops was third in the 50 free at 22.91.

In the 200 IM, senior Jacob Robinson was second with a time of 2:04.27 with Larkin in third at 2:04.73.

Hoops won the 200 fly with a time of 1:59.87. Jumper won the 100 free with a time of 49.34.

Benn won the 200 back with a time of 1:57.79, with junior James Marrone in third with a time of 2:03.93.

In the 500 free, Wagner was second with a time of 4:55.99. Larkin posted a third place finish in the 200 breast at 2:20.04.

In the final event of the day, the team of sophomore Dylan Cooper, Gershun, Jumper and freshman Colin McNamara were second in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:19.92.
