Men's Swimming runs to 3-0 with win over Lebanon Valley

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's swimming team moved its record to 3-0 with a 113-84 win over Lebanon Valley on Saturday at Elliott Pool.

Ursinus finished first in nearly every event and swam the last three in exhibition.

The day started with the team of senior Ben Jumper, freshman Chris Barthold, freshman Carl Christoph and sophomore William Benn winning the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:44.54. The team of junior James Marrone, sophomore Spencer Collopy, sophomore Joao Angelotto and junior Nick Dipalo finished second at 1:45.07.

Senior Jacob Robinson won the 1000 free with a time of 10:42.81, with sophomore Dylan Cooper in second at 11:08.62.

Sophomore Marcus Wagner was first in the 200 free at 1:47.97 with junior Henry Nonack in third at 1:55.70.

Freshman Colin McNamara won the 50 free at 23.01 with junior Christopher Hoops in second at 23.52.

Barthold won the 200 IM at 2:07.54, with senior Joe Gershun in second at 2:07.74 and Jumper in third at 2:15.18.

In the 100 fly, junior Keith Larkin was second at 56.68 and Dipalo in third at 57.25.

McNamara was first in the 100 free at 50.58, with junior Alec Heckman in second at 51.17 and sophomore Dylan Cooper in third at 51.42.

Jumper was first in the 100 back at 57.52 with Nonack in second at 58.93 and Hoops in third at 59.21.

Ursinus hosts McDaniel on Saturday.
