LANCASTER, Pa. – After day two of the 2014 Centennial Conference Men's Swimming Championships, the Ursinus College team finds themselves in fourth place with a total score of 353.5 points, just ten points behind third place Washington.

Starting with the 200 yard medley relay, the team of freshman Chase Renninger, senior Charles Messa, sophomore Chris Hoops and senior John Wieczorek were fifth in the A final at 1:36.05, while in the B final, the team of freshman William Benn, freshman Spencer Collopy, sophomore Nick DiPalo and freshman Dylan Cooper were 12th at 1:38.57.

In the 400 IM, junior Jacob Robinson was third at 4:08.38 while sophomore Keith Larkin was tenth at 4:26.83. Senior Mark Hickey picked up a 12th place finish at 4:29.55.

In the 100 fly, Hoops was ninth at 52.67, with sophomore Alec Heckman 11th at 53.31, DiPalo in 13th at 53.99 and Wieczorek in 16th at 55.06.

In the 200 free, freshman Marcus Wagner was tenth at 1:44.93 with senior Alexander Pandelidis in 12th at 1:45.64 and junior Joe Gershun in 16th at 1:49.53.

The 100 breaststroke saw Collopy in tenth at 1:00.89, Hickey in 12th at 1:01.58 and Larkin in 16th at 1:03.16.

Renninger was fifth in the 100 back at 52.05 with Benn sixth at 52.10. Sophomore James Marrone was 13th at 54.47.

In the 800 free relay, the team of Robinson, Pandelidis, Gershun and Wagner was third at 7:00.08, while the team of Hoops, Benn, DiPalo and Cooper were 13th at 7:18.42.
