Men's Swimming downs Cabrini, 107-59

RADNOR, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's swimming team defeated Cabrini 107-59 on Saturday night in a regional meet.

Ursinus won first in six of seven events and the opening 400 yard medley before swimming exhibition the rest of the way.

Sophomore Jacob Robinson (Columbia, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) was a double winner as he captured the 1650 yard freestyle at 17:31.76 and the 200 fly at 2:12.97.

Sophomore Josef Gershun (Southbury, Conn./Fork Union Military Academy) won the 200 free at 1:50.65, junior Alexander Pandelidis (York, Pa./Dallastown) won the 50 free at 23.18 and sophomore Ben Jumper (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) won the 100 free at 50.69.

Finally, freshman James Marrone (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y./Croton-Harmon) won the 200 back at 2:10.67.

In the 400 medley relay, senior Scott Paine (York, Pa./Dallastown), junior Charles Messa (Parkland, Fla./North Broward), freshman Alec Heckman (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) and Pandelidis won the event at 3:48.20.

Ursinus hosts F&M on Saturday.
