GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's swimming team dropped a 181-81 decision to Gettysburg on Saturday afternoon in a Centennial Conference swimming meet.

The Bears got first place finishes senior Scott Paine (York, Pa./Dallastown Area) in the 1000 yard free at 10:10.21 and in the 500 free at 4:55.56 and senior Philip Quick (Bridgeton, N.J./Cumberland Regional) in the 100 breaststroke 1:02.50

Second place finishes were by sophomore Jacob Robinson (Columbia, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) at 55.78, freshman Christian Hoops (Phoenixville, Pa./Great Valley) in the 200 fly at 2:07.23, Quick in the 200 breast at 2:18.91 and freshman Alec Heckman (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) in the 100 fly at 55.55.

Sophomore Josef Gershun (Southbury, Conn./Fork Union Military Academy) was third in the 200 free at 1:50.89 as was Heckman in the 200 fly at 2:09.50 and Paine in the 100 free at 50.13.
