Men's Swimming drops opener to Dickinson

CARLISLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's swimming team dropped its 2012-13 opener by a 117.5-87.5 score to Dickinson College.

Senior Scott Paine took the first top finish of the day for the Bears, winning the 1000 free at 10:24.77.

In the 200 free, junior Alexander Pandelidis was second at 1:50.37. Sophomore Jacob Robinson was second in the 200 IM at 2:06.20.

Freshman Christian Hoops was second in the 100 fly at 55.72.

Sophomore Benjamin Jumper was tops in the 100 free at 50.79, while Robinson was second in the 100 back at 55.75.

Paine scored his second top finish of the day in the 500 free at 4:58.32.

Finally, the team of Paine, junior John Wieczorek, senior David Yazbeck and Jumper tied for first in the 200 free relay at 1:31.79.
