CARLISLE, Pa. - The Ursinus College men's soccer team lost on a late goal in overtime to Dickinson on Saturday. The two teams headed into the extra time scoreless, but it was the Red Devils who came out on top with a goal in the 92nd minute. 

Dickinson took the first four of the first six shots of the game, but Colin Klingman and Griffin Bower each fired shots on goal that were turned away by the keeper. With only a handful of chances from either team, the Bears and Red Devils would head into the second half scoreless.

Braden Burns found space to fire a shot on goal early in the second half but was denied. From there the Red Devil offense took control, taking the next five shots, two of which were saved by goalie Tyler Lewin and the other three off-target. Burns had another chance in the 78th minute but was again turned away. 

The game would go into overtime scoreless after 90, but would not stay that way for long. 1:02 into the extra period, the Red Devils found the back of the net as the Bears fell, 1-0. 

As they have all season, the Bears have shown improvement in Centennial Conference play. Ursinus has lost to Dickinson by four goals in each of the last two seasons and for the first time since 2013, the Bears didn't give up a regulation goal to the Red Devils. 

The Bears were outshot 15-5, but just 5-4 in shots on goal. Burns led the team with his two shots in the second half.

The Bears are home next Saturday when they host Franklin and Marshall at Patterson Field.
