Kimelheim Named CC Offensive Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus College Men's Soccer senior captain Noah Kimelheim was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week in the second installment of the weekly honors.

Kimelheim had the best game of his career last Saturday, scoring twice in less than eight minutes to lead the Bears (2-2) to a 4-2 victory over Cabrini. The midfielder's first goal came just 19 seconds into the contest, the second-fastest in school history and only one tick off the program mark set in 1985.

Kimelheim added another tally on a leaping volley at the 7:56 mark, giving Ursinus a quick 2-0 lead.

The two goals matched the previous career output for Kimelheim, who also has an assist and currently stands as the Bears' team leader with five points on the season. That total is tied for fourth in the conference.

The men's soccer team opens its CC slate on Saturday against Gettysburg.
