COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to Washington College on Homecoming Saturday afternoon at Patterson Field.

Despite owning a 19-15 advantage on shots, Ursinus got only one goal in the 67^th minute when senior forward Ryan Butler (Palmyra, N.J./Palmyra) scored on an assist from junior midfielder Aaron Nelson (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood).

Washington College scored twice in the first period, the first goal coming in the 19^th minute when senior midfielder Cody Gray scored on a pass from junior midfielder Drew Thompson.

The Shoremen then scored in the 34^th minute when junior forward Chris Lewandowski hit a shot over the goalie off of a pass from junior midfielder Christian Cooke.

Washington would take on one more in the 62^nd minute when Thompson scored on an assist from junior forward Brian Wilkinson.

For Ursinus, junior goalkeeper Vince Maiorino (Mount Laurel, N.J./Bishop Eustace) made nine saves.

Ursinus will be at Immaculata on Wednesday.
