Men's Soccer beaten by Cabrini, 2-1

RADNOR, Pa. – Cabrini's AJ Bishop scored with just under eight minutes remaining in the contest, lifting the Cavaliers (4-0-1) to a 2-1 win over Ursinus (0-3-1) Saturday afternoon in men's soccer play.

Bishop scored on a pass from Mike Camacho on a breakaway for the winning margin. The two also were part of Cabrini's first goal at 36:49 as Camacho scored on a Bishop pass.

Ursinus tied the score at 67:15 when freshman forward Ben Amaral (Holden, Mass./Wachusett Regional) scored on a junior midfielder Ryan Molyneaux (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area) assist.

Following the Cabrini goal, Ursinus had two corner kicks in the final minute and one shot attempt but could not get one through.

Cabrini had an 11-7 edge on shots, with junior goalkeeper Vince Maiorino (Mount Laurel, N.J./Bishop Eustace) making five saves.

Ursinus heads to The Catholic University of America on Tuesday.
