LANCASTER, Pa. – After another dominant offensive performance, Ursinus men's lacrosse junior Tyler Neal was named Centennial Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the Conference on Tuesday morning.

Neal paced the Bears with six points behind five goals and one assist in their 13-9 triumph over Montclair State last Wednesday. He came up big when Ursinus needed him the most as he scored three of his goals in the fourth quarter when the Bears scored five-straight after trailing 9-8. He also led the team with six ground balls in the win.

The Pittstown, N.J. native now has 11 goals and four assists in his last two games. Neal is currently third in the Centennial in total points with 18, but paces the conference by averaging 6.0 points per game and 3.7 goals per game.

This is the first time that Neal has earned a weekly award from the Centennial Conference, and he is the first Bear to earn a weekly accolade since teammate Chris Porzelt and Hakan Atillasoy swept the final Conference awards last season.

The Bears return to action tomorrow, March 9th as they will travel to take on No. 4 Christopher Newport at 4 p.m.
