Inside Lacrose DIII Preseason All-Americans

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Ursinus Men's Lacrosse junior attack Tyler Neal earned preseason Division III All-American Honorable Mention from Inside Lacrosse, announced by the website on Tuesday.

After transferring from Rutgers following his freshman year, Neal hit the ground running in Collegeville last spring by earning All-Centennial second team honors in 2021 after leading the team with 15 goals and adding 9 assists. Neal matched the single-game program record with 10 points in his debut, piling up seven assists and netting three goals in a win over Washington College. He had hat tricks in four of six games during the Centennial Conference-only 2021 season.

Neal is the first Bear to earn preseason All-American status since Bobby McClure earned honorable mention before the 2020 season.

The Bears will begin their 2022 season on Saturday, February 19th as they will travel to take on No. 14 Stevenson at 7 p.m.
