Ursinus College standout Hakan Atillasoy was selected for the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Senior All-Star Game.
Atillasoy, who graduated two weeks ago with the rest of the Class of 2021, will join some of the nation's top talent for the annual showcase today at Roger Williams University. The Division III edition is set for 4 p.m., with the Division I/II contest to follow at 6:30 p.m.
Atillasoy capped his stellar career with a first team All-Centennial Conference award after leading the Bears (4-2) with 14 goals and 27 points during the spring. One of the most prolific attackers in program history, he was selected as one of the recipients of Ursinus' outstanding male athlete award. Atillasoy is fourth all-time in goals (107), fifth in points (157), and eighth in assists (50) at Ursinus despite playing only 13 games over his final two seasons.
A decorated student as well, Atillasoy is a three-year member of the CC Academic Honor Roll, a two-time Academic All-CC honoree, and was the Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2020. He also represented Ursinus as a COSIDA Academic All-District selection.
