COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College men's lacrosse standout Hakan Atillasoy was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Team of the Week, the organization announced earlier this week.
Atillasoy scored three goals, including the 100th of his career, and dished out a pair of assists in last weekend's 14-9 victory over Dickinson. The senior became the fourth player in program history to reach the century mark and did so in style, netting back-to-back goals late in the third quarter after the Red Devils had trimmed a five-goal lead down to one.
Atillasoy, who also ranks seventh in school history in points (143) and tied for ninth in assists (43), is a first-time USILA Team of the Week honoree. He is currently tied for the team lead with seven goals, and his six assists are good for second on the squad.
