Men's Lax Up 3 Spots in USILA Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Ursinus College men's lacrosse team moved up three spots in the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Coaches Poll.

The Bears are up to No. 12 in this week's set of new rankings following a thrilling 13-12 victory over then-No. 20 Stevenson on Saturday. Aaron Grill netted the game-winning goal with 12.8 seconds remaining, giving Ursinus seven victories over nationally ranked opponents since the start of the 2019 campaign.

Ursinus remains one of four Centennial Conference programs in the national top-20. Gettysburg stayed at No. 10 after a win over Messiah, while Franklin & Marshall slipped to No. 15 on the heels of a loss to Lynchburg. Dickinson moved up one slot to No. 18 with a victory against St. Mary's (Md.).

Another of the Bears' future opponents, Christopher Newport, joined the rankings at No. 20.

Ursinus stays home to take on Mary Washington on Saturday.
