COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Haverford’s Travis Gregory scored both the game-tying and game-winning goals, the latter coming with just 41 seconds remaining in the second overtime as the Fords (6-5, 2-3 Centennial) rallied to defeat Ursinus (8-2, 3-2 Centennial) 9-8 in a men’s lacrosse thriller Wednesday night.
The Fords had rallied from three goals down, as they trailed 8-5
with 8:33 left in the fourth.

fourth quarter.
Ursinus, who had never trailed until the game-winning goal, got three goals each from senior midfielder Eric Farris (Pottsgrove, Pa./Pottsgrove) and sophomore midfielder Jeff Ocampo (Palm Coast, Fla./Mantanzas) in the loss.
Ocampo’s third goal came with 8:33 left in the fourth quarter, which gave Ursinus the 8-5 lead.
Gregory ended the game with four goals, while Max Hjelm had three for the Fords.
For Ursinus, junior defender Logan Duffie (Glen Mills, Pa./Penncrest) had seven groundballs, while junior midfielder Graig Gallo (Winter Springs, Fla./Winter Springs) went 6-for-13 on faceoffs.
In goal, freshman goalkeeper T.J. Magnani (Bear, Del./Saint Mark’s) had 12 saves.
Ursinus heads to second-ranked Gettysburg on Saturday.
