MACUNGIE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's golf team finished strong on the third and final day of the Centennial Conference championship, posting its lowest score of the weekend by a wide margin at Brookside Country Club.

Gettysburg erased a 15-shot deficit in the final round to claim its first team title since 2002, edging McDaniel by eight strokes and Swarthmore by 10. The Bullets' Danny Harcourt took home individual medalist honors with a three-day 225.

The resurgence wasn't enough to lift the Bears out of seventh in the team standings, but it was a welcome conclusion to the campaign. Ursinus tallied a 328 on Sunday after a 342 in the first round and a 359 in the second.

All five Ursinus golfers shot 89 or better on Sunday, with the top four all going 85 or below. Freshman Kyle Quagliero was the best of the bunch, firing a final-round 79 to wind up in 26^th place in the individual standings. The rookie made birdie on the par-five 4^th, the par-three 17^th, and the par-four 18^th in his last round of the season, capping his weekend with a 72-hole tally of 251.

Junior Ryan Hodgdon was right behind with a 253, good for a tie for 27^th. He carded an 83 on Sunday, making birdie on the par-four 7^th and the par-four 10^th. Hodgdon had five pars during a 40 on the front nine.

Junior Brian Barrett took home a 30^th-place finish with a 259, sandwiching a pair of 85's around an 89 on Saturday. Barrett notched six pars, evenly split between the front nine and back nine, in the final round.

Junior Daniel Schlitt ended his first season with the team on a high note, matching his lowest collegiate round with an 81 on Sunday. He shot 39 on the front nine with six pars and three bogeys, adding a birdie on the par-three 12^th for good measure. Schlitt finished with a three-day tally of 266.

Junior Jack Bagnell signed for an 89 on Sunday, his best score of the weekend. Bagnell logged a birdie on the par-five 4^th during a 42 on the front nine, finishing with a 72-hole mark of 278.
