Men's Hoops vs. Muhlenberg to Air on PCTV

Fresh off a trip to one of the sport's most famous arenas, the Ursinus College men's basketball team is set to invite more audiences to its high-flying show.

Tomorrow's Centennial Conference clash with Muhlenberg, scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip, will be televised on PCTV, giving the Bears the opportunity to step into the spotlight on their home floor for the first time in many years. The game will air on PCTV (Channels 28 and 98 on Comcast) at 10 p.m. Wednesday night and throughout the week. It will also be broadcast on RCN TV in the Lehigh Valley.

Based out of Pottstown, PCTV provides local television programming and video services to subscribing homes in western Montgomery County, northern Chester County, and eastern Berks County. PCTV content is broadcast 24/7 on Channels 28 and 98 on the Comcast TV Network, and the same channel content is available on the web and can be viewed from any location through the "PCTV Watch Live" link on the left margin of the network's website.

Wednesday's tilt gives viewers a chance to see two of the hottest teams in the region. Both Ursinus and Muhlenberg have won five straight games, and neither has lost since the calendar flipped to 2018. The Bears are in third place in the CC standings at 6-2, while the Mules are tied for fourth at 5-3.

Ursinus is one of the most prolific offenses in the conference, leading the league in field-goal percentage (48.4) and assists per game (17.5) while ranking second in points per game (79.7). Muhlenberg tops the CC in 3-pointers made (9.4) and attempted (28.3) per contest and sits fourth in scoring offense at 75.7 points.

Ursinus will still be producing its usual livestream, complete with live statistics, as part of the Centennial Conference Digital Network. To watch the Bears' broadcast, click here.
